In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, and as the COVID-19 public health situation keeps evolving, we at Murphy, Schisano & Rosado have decided to take a proactive approach in doing our part to take care of our staff, our clients, our colleagues, and our community. We want to make you aware of the temporary changes that we are implementing.
Effective WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, we will remain open to serve you DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, HOWEVER, OUR LOBBY WILL BE ACCESSIBLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
IF YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED CLOSING OR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE CALL TO LET US KNOW YOU HAVE ARRIVED AND ENTER UPSTAIRS AND PROCEED TO THE WINDOW. WE WILL MAINTAIN A SIGN-IN SHEET AT THE TABLE IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW TO KEEP A RECORD OF OUR SCHEDULED VISITORS. FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL, WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS AT THIS TIME.
CLOSING PROTOCOL:
• No individuals unnecessary to the transaction will be permitted to attend. We ask for your cooperation and understanding in helping us observe social distancing protocol and reducing interaction to the greatest degree we can for the safety of everyone.
• You will be asked to utilize nitrile gloves which will be provided to you in our conference room when handling closing documents, as our closing attorneys are immunosuppressed. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may impose.
• Please provide/use your own pen to execute documents, etc. Alternatively, we have provided pens for your use. Please take your pen when you leave or dispose of it in our trash receptacles.
If you are ill or experiencing a fever, cough, or respiratory issues, we kindly ask that you notify us immediately and not enter our offices.
We will work with you to find an acceptable alternative that would not require a face-to-face meeting while you are ill.
We have, of course, implemented increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures and policies, using commercial grade. We are committed to providing you the very best legal service and support as we navigate these challenging times. Wishing you well.
